If you have been injured at work, you do not want to follow through with your workers’ compensation claim on your own. One simple mistake or missed deadline could prevent you from ever getting the full compensation you deserve. With over 25 years of experience in protecting workers’ rights, I will be by your side every step along the way.

Workers’ Medical Rights in South Carolina

If you have been injured on the job, the insurance carrier, or your employer, will designate a company approved doctor. Second opinions and independent medical evaluations are also available. You will have to see a company-approved doctor in order to collect your benefits. However, I can help you see a doctor who understands the AMA guidelines and can give a complete analysis of your disability.

Payment for Lost Wages

If you are no longer able to work due to the nature of your injury, you will receive a disability check worth two-thirds of your average weekly wage. No wages are paid to injured workers until they have been out of work for seven days. After seven days, you can start collecting money for your lost wages. After two weeks out of work, your employer owes you for the first week of lost wages.
